If you are looking to farm silver bells:

They first appear in the Malcus cave where the blue snake is which you beat to get the map. I've seen them in up to six groupings before, memory serving.

Inland, the island just above Howard castle (first castle you start the game at) they appear in groupings of one (always for me) and mayne one monster. There are a lit of yellow slimes on this area too which frequently drop scented charms - since my party is all ninja and samurai this is helpful since I don't have amor all for dungeons. This is an excellent place to grind and level up!

Also I am told they are on the path where the secret dungeon is which is ONLY ACCESSIBLE AFTER YOU BEAT THE DEMON KING (according to forum posters) and that is located in lost woods (there are no silver bells outside the forest once you exit the lost woods to the dungeon where the panacea is. I also "think" I've seen them near a particular town near water for and to tbe rigbt and top quickly ends where there are mountains (hope I am not confusing this with gailardia 1) there ahould or may also be gold bells there too.

Also, this may help people: silver bells (and hammerspawns) also drop rings of protection (excellent item if you get it early like in Malcus cave) and if you have too many, they sell for a whopping 2500 gold. FYI later in game Mo'ais drop rings of power which sell for town gold (only accessible outside around last town)

Correction rings of power sell for 2500 (sorry I'm posting via my cell phone ;) )

For those of you who need miracle leafs: they are sometimes dropped by demon butterflies (same in Gailardia 1 too). These can beI helpful for final boss fights if you predominantly have warrior or samauri or ninja in party.

Also early in the game zombies occassionally drop orc bucklers which you can sell for about 1500. Death katanas: steel swords (900).

Love this game by the way!

For those of you just starting out I highly recommend you have at 1 ninja or samurai and at least later in game maybe a sage or spellcaster because I think they can use miracle robe, ruby items and dagger if light. Ideal final part would probably be a warrior samurai sage and warrior or monk or another samurai -and I personally found getting through game went very quick with all ninja and samurai party with med herbs as sole healing item).

Every party should have AT LEAST one samurai or ninja because of the awesome tomugowa armor and masamune (not murasame). Just as good or better than hero armor and sword. Hope this helps folks!

Love this game by the way!

Ok so since in game you can only have one high ranking job, how do you get 2 ninjas or 2 sages? is it later in the game that this happens? Do you get the chance to have more then one high ranking job in the game? When and how do you do this?
