You have to get the boat upgrade before getting the gold key. When you get your boat upgraded go down the river from where the broken bridge is now blown up and its in the tower to the right.

For those looking for the purple gem go to louis town aka st.louis castle, then go south and follow the winding tree path till you come to two clear spots in the middle of the forest and search.

Well depends on your lvl. After you kill incubus in the cave next to last town go back to aka village and stay in green area around it and you can get silver and gold bells. If you are lower stock up on spider silks and grind in caves that your party can handle. Thats what i did.

Btw do not attempt incubus until your party is at least lvl 50 - 55. You will need to cast curtain, magic barrier and heal all alot.
