The masamune is in the cave beside the last town so is the last pearl and i believe the armor is in the cave to get to the last town its right behind the snake you have to fight. Go left instead of south.

Found a fast way to level up.Go north of Howard castle to an island with a shrine.Use Amor all magic,walk around and you'll fight nothing but silver bells.But you got to be level 35+.
