Just beat quetzalcoatl in 7 turns but out of ten previous attempts 5 of them were 10 turns, 2 of them was 9 turns, and 3 of them were 8 turns.
I think to defeat quetzalcoatl in 6 turns or less relies on being very lucky with criticals which I wasn't, just a few here and there.

The key to defeating Quetzalcoatl in 5 turns is to use Wilt on the first turn, and for it to work (about a 50% chance).

Ah! I thought wilt didn't work on bosses. Do you reckon with loads of criticals it can be done in less than 5 then?

I've noticed as well that sometimes the high tension will be cast before the ninja strikes. This is obviously helpful but seems quite random / luck based too

I've come within one shot of doing it in four turns, so it's probably possible.
Ninjas have a higher agility than Sages or Holy Knights. That means that they have a better chance of going first.

In the tower near the isolated village, how do I get to the Rex? The tower seems divided into two parts and I can't get to the other part.
