***MINOR SPOILERS: Silver and Gold Bells and the Northeast Continent***

The Silver Bells appear in various locations. The best place to farm them between levels 21 and 35 is near the Shrine on the northeast corner of the eastern continent (the sage speaks of the Rex monsters). They appear most frequently (when Amor is lused) on the island just north of there.

The Gold Bells can be found between Hamilton Castle and Callendora.

You cannot get into the Northeast Continent until you have the Cell Key. At that point, the cave just southwast of there is the entry point.

*MINOR SPOILER*

I finished the game with 100% item completion. I beat Quetzalcoat1 in 24 turns at level 47.

JOB TIP:

After you choose jobs for your initial party, you have to have a Work Permit to change jobs again. There are 6 or 7 of them in the game. You need Adv. Work Permits to change to the advanced jobs. There are exactly 4 Adv. Work Permits, or one for each member....if you're careful.

Assuming that you want to change all four of your members over from basic to advanced, you'll need a Ninja and a Sage if you're going to use all of the Unique equipment. Among the advanced jobs (Admin: correct me if this is wrong), only a Sage can use the Miracle Robe (which is a fantastic piece of armor when it comes time for the bosses), and only a Ninja can use the Tokugawa armor and Masamune.

Two of the four Adv. Work Permits aren't found until late in the game.

One thing that helps is that you can now rearrange your party in any order.

Rob: in reference to post 5, I understand what you mean now. In order to go east in the desert, you need the Compass. You'll find that in the cave east of Howard.

What sort of level should I be against the blue snake? Just been ass whipped by it at level 8.

My party is warrior, samurai, monk, magician. Equipment wise I have all of the armor from calandora but weapons from the previous city

Ps...guys post your reviews on Google play. It's a little bare!

You need to be a bit higher.

As a general rule, get the strongest weapons and armor that you can from each city before moving onto the next one. For example, I didn't leave Raiton until I had Copper Swords and Armor for my fighters and all of the leather good for everybody else. Don't miss the upgrades for your magic users at the Shrine between Raiton and Misaki.

Yes it's boring to level/grind early, but you'll have to do it eventually to win the game, and it takes less time in the long run to do it as you go than to be underpowered and struggle the whole game.

I've finished the game and created a bare-bones walkthrough and complete item list and approximate idea of where everything is. I've erased the game and am going to go through it again to fill out the walkthrough. Everything can be found with a bit of logic and exploration, as long as one explores the world and keeps notes. There's no hidden land anymore: even the one-square islands have dots on the World Map.

SUGGESTION FOR THE ADMIN: The item shop in the bonus area should sell both regular Work Permits and Advanced Work Permits. Cost of the former should be about 1,000 and the of the latter about 5,000. The reason for this is to allow players who have already beaten the last boss to easily experiment with different combinations of Advanced jobs. In my opinion, it would give the game more play in the bonus stages, and it would probably encourage players to replay the game to try the new combinations.

==Mini Spoilers==

You can't access the northeast continent without going through the cave on the island southwest of there. You'll need the Cell Key to get in. It's found in the cave east of Kata, which is in the southwest part of the west continent.

A man in Port Town has the Blueprints. To get to Port Town, you'll need to get the Passport. The Ship Builder in Calandora will give you a Passport. You may need to talk to the guard at the cave portal.
