Futile, the town of Kata is located on the continent south of Comma Town.
Nyson, the Red Demon's defeat is not required to get to Alabama Town. It is located to the northeast of Port Town. Just hug the coast and avoid the rivers and you'll find it without problems

Thank you Ravenfyre, you killed 2 birds with one post for me =) I found Albama and then Howard castle, but no key means find other cities. I found the forever halls and know from reading back that I must find the 6 tombstones and 3 cities (Kata, Madagus and Elisa) before I doing much there.

Nyson, you are welcome, however I mentioned a couple of times already how to find the keys.
Madagus, the town of your namesake is located on a very small island in the northeastern quadrant of the map. If you already found Howard Castle, it is the closest place to it. Happy huntings

Once I have collected the 5 gems do I turn them in for anything? or just item percentage like one of the NPC's say?

Walked through the red demon and green demon but the blue is a bit rough... what level should I be on for him? I am 24,24,23 currently. All best defensive gear purchasable, offensive swords are 2nd best...

Your level is good enuf, I fought the 3 underlings at that level. I had the same equips as you and beat them. I guess the trick against the Blue Demon is that you have to have Rick and Alice cast magic barrier and curtain ASAP, then you'll have to cast high tension ONLY on Guile. Repeat this pattern every other turn (don't wait till the effects are gone before you cast these spells). You also have to cast heal or giga heal (not mini heal) whenever you're not casting your support spells. Good luck.

i got the hero sword,armor and shield..
i cant seem to find the hero helm..
what cave/tower the helm is placed..

Again, please use the search feature and you'll find that others have post the location of the hero items.
The Hero Sword: Near [Devil town West] In the cave after you fight the black dragon
The Hero Armor: Near [Devil town West] In the cave after you fight the black dragon
The Hero Shield: In the tower south of Colma City.
The Hero Helm: I believe it's in the top floor of the tower north of Romario town. (Stare at the chest at the top floor and walk right until you hit the wall in the middle of the room. From there, go all the way south and you'll go through the wall into a secret room.
Note: After collecting the 4 hero equipment, talk to the old man in the left room of St. Louis Castle he'll give you miracle armor.
