I'm saying I can't even get into the cave. The guard won't let me through he says "i won't let strangers pass" or something along those lines.
I feel like I skipped a part of the game I was supposed to do before I can do this part. >.<

is there a step u need to take to get the completed boat once u give the guy at port the ore? I soent hours and multiple lvls waiting and they still arent done

After giving the ship builder the ore go to Mizuri, speak to the old woman and get the world map. Once done with that you can go back and get your boat.

I'm in the green demon tower (southernmost isle) and I am going around in an endless loop. The second room is a simple room with four exits, and no matter which exit I take the next room looks the same. Please help!

Uhmump95,
To get the bridge fixed you have to go through the cave on that island and then once through go into Eliza town. Then just north of the cave you will see a weird spot on the ground. Enter and speak to the guy there. After that the bridge will be fixed. This will all require ONLY the golden key. No demons needed to be slain for this.
