How did you figure out how to place the balls? Confused!

The window, the book, and the sign. The window has red on it. Does that mean that's where the red ball goes? Far left..middle row? The book has a g in the middle row on the far right, but if I place the green ball there BC green begins with g, the red ball on the far left middle row. That messes up the order. And that leaves no clue where to put the blue one.
