You need to be a bit higher.

As a general rule, get the strongest weapons and armor that you can from each city before moving onto the next one. For example, I didn't leave Raiton until I had Copper Swords and Armor for my fighters and all of the leather good for everybody else. Don't miss the upgrades for your magic users at the Shrine between Raiton and Misaki.

Yes it's boring to level/grind early, but you'll have to do it eventually to win the game, and it takes less time in the long run to do it as you go than to be underpowered and struggle the whole game.

I've finished the game and created a bare-bones walkthrough and complete item list and approximate idea of where everything is. I've erased the game and am going to go through it again to fill out the walkthrough. Everything can be found with a bit of logic and exploration, as long as one explores the world and keeps notes. There's no hidden land anymore: even the one-square islands have dots on the World Map.

SUGGESTION FOR THE ADMIN: The item shop in the bonus area should sell both regular Work Permits and Advanced Work Permits. Cost of the former should be about 1,000 and the of the latter about 5,000. The reason for this is to allow players who have already beaten the last boss to easily experiment with different combinations of Advanced jobs. In my opinion, it would give the game more play in the bonus stages, and it would probably encourage players to replay the game to try the new combinations.

==Mini Spoilers==

You can't access the northeast continent without going through the cave on the island southwest of there. You'll need the Cell Key to get in. It's found in the cave east of Kata, which is in the southwest part of the west continent.

A man in Port Town has the Blueprints. To get to Port Town, you'll need to get the Passport. The Ship Builder in Calandora will give you a Passport. You may need to talk to the guard at the cave portal.

Yea I figured it out was being lazy. Now i cant beat the red snake! I'm Level 12 all. All best equipment (well except for monk and magician weapons. I dont see the point of melee weapons on them lol)

SUGGESTIONS FOR THE ADMIN:
1. Gold Bank Feature. Losing half money wasnt so bad in the dragon quest series cause they had a storage facility for your cash

2. Load Option. Why cant I just load, or quit without saving?

3. Progress from Game to Game. Gailardia 4 needs to have lots of new stuff. At the moment it seems 3 is just a port of 2 with one or two new features lol! I mean collecting aluminium ore to build a ship etc the story is the same every time. You cant just keep resurecting the demon king and have all the same stuff. Give us a flying mount, new game plus, control how characters stats build etc etc. I hope 4 takes off

4. Equipment. There needs to be more job only equipment, and a larger variety of regular equipment.

You need to be about level 15 to beat the snake.

You an avoid losing your gold by saving often and using the task-killer trick. When you get into trouble, use the phone's home-screen key and then use a task killer to kill the game. Then you can start it up again and load it from your last save point, without losing gold.

I don't think I have a task killer. I noticed that powering my phone on and off works but a load option is easier and simply should be there, along with gold bank feature. Not hard to implement. Also what's going on with the music this time. in places no music plays at all, or overlaps with others (from battle to world map for example)

System Panel has a task killer that allows you to kill applications individually, and it has a free version.
